I found this during my morning water bear hunt, and it appears to have a head on the right end, and there is a clopada swimming around inside it trying to get out, but I don't think that's going to happen. I think this thing gnoshed down on that clopada and might be looking for more. I've never seen anything quite like this.
It's wasn't moving when I found it. I'm not even sure it's an animal of any kind, but that does look like it might be a head on the right end....

So, we have a small "histophagous" ciliate (a scavenger), scooping scraps from a dead arthropod. We don't see the little guy closely enough to identify it, but Tetrahymena is likely. Some species of Holophrya have similar habits.
