Larval Crab?

Not sure what this is - could not find anything quite like it. Looks like a crab but the single eye is disconcerting.
Yes, that is dust on the sensor!

Close (well interesting idea), but the lack of an eye, single or otherwise precludes handing out a cigar.

What is unusual in my (very limited) experience is that it is wider than it is longer.

Have not found anything like that with a single red (nauplius like) eye.
