Help on this one please

I saw this in a creek sample, it's 60 um long and exhibited no activity. Is it a plant or animal?

I agree with 75RR. They appear to be conidium of some sort.

Alternaria, perhaps (a guess, only...I'm not very fungus-savvy :D).
