Diatom Identification

I am looking through slides I made of diatoms collected in brackish water on the St. Johns river near Jacksonsville, FL. I haven't yet managed to identify a single one but it doesn't help that I have been focusing on the more unusual diatoms. I promise I won't ask for help on every one of them (I'm still learning the "lingo" of diatom morphology so I hope to get more proficient at it). This image is a stack of about 10 images taken at ~ 400x and is cropped down a bit to fit the site's limitations on file size. The "rim" is flat and the things that look like "spikes" do project above the plane of the rim. The center is domed. I haven't been able to find anything even close to it so even a genus would help. I believe the dark band is the edge of a bubble inside the valve.

I cannot help you with the ID, but it is a beautiful organism and a well-taken image!
