Hi folks,
This one has been bugging me for a few days.
Metopus is my best guess so far.
Free swimming and constantly spiralling, cilli appearing to rotate around the "mouth"
In a freshwater wetland pond sample.

Thanks Bruce
It nice to find that the hunting to try and pin this critter down a bit was successful.
Now to try and sort it out
