Growing on the cover slip?

#1 Post by geos » Fri Dec 21, 2018 8:04 am

Can anyone identify this? I think it is growing on the cover slip (the rotifer was moving under it). I recycle my slides and coverslips. I clean them in disinfectant and dry them. Perhaps I missed something.

Maybe a plant trichome, of the lepidote type.
