Perhaps an amoeba dividing?

#1 Post by rooth » Sat Feb 02, 2019 10:03 pm

This is from an infusion of a scraping of a small stem of an apple tree.
200 total X. I have two photos. One shows the layer that looks like crystals - one indication that it's an amoeba.
The other is a different layer. The colors are not great but it was bright light green.
I have not seen photos of an amoeba with a waistband, even those that are dividing!
Thank you

Doesn't look like an amoeba. Could perhaps be an alga or a moss protonema.
