What are those sharp black kinda creepy lines all over?

What is this a photo of? The magnification would help contextualize it as well. They look a but like fine cracks to me, though I am not sure that would be a sensical answer.

Oh I'm sorry, I don't remember the magnification(I'm really new to this stuff) but it's from my thumb that was healing from Eczema, I put the slide on the raw area of it.

Some more information about the optical setup would help a lot. Plus it is always of interest.

Hello,
Had similar lines on my slide. Try to clean the slide first before use by dry-rubbing it with a paper towel. Could be some stuff left over from the slide-manufacturing process.
