Marine Nematode

#1 Post by 75RR » Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:59 pm

Note: Had posted this originally in Pictures and Videos

Plan 40x/0.65, DIC, about 800µm length (a little under), 20µm max width, stacked and stitched in Photoshop

I was a little unsure as to which was the head and which was the tail.

After searching without much success for an ID on this nematode I came across this: see numbers 89 and 90 in the image below

Makes me wonder if the nematode's motion, perhaps it was moving backwards, led me to mix up the head with the tail. Would seem the tail is on the right.
