This is a baby copepod. It's called a nauplius larva; the three pairs of appendages are ultimately going to turn into the antennae and mandibles, with the rest of the head and body appearing in later moults.

Thank you! 3-4 days prior I saw a few copepods with eggs, and without. I now have a little 5-gallon fish tank that I turned into a big specimen jar.

I took a sample from my fish tank tonight. Boy, do I have a lot of copepods and nauplius larva!
