A dinosaur egg

#1 Post by Nerdoid » Sun Mar 08, 2020 9:21 am

Hello everybody,

I found what appears to be an egg of sorts, about 2-3mm in length. The outer shell is very pretty, made up of individual cells. Any idea what this coud be?

It lives in a jar on my desk in water from a pond and various algae. magnification is 40x, photo taken on an APS-C sensor with a 22mm lens.

Unlikely to be a dragon's egg - they are larger than that.

Try Statoblast
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)
