Does anyone know what kind of fungal spore this is? A Cercospora maybe?
Thanks!

Re: Fungal Spore?
I farm, and am in my 40th year of doing so. I would like to say that Cercospora are my friends but they aren't. I use no synthetics and as what used to be asexually reproducing fungi meet far flung cousins and become sexual reproducers, those punk offspring are a handful.....literally, sometimes. Cercospora and phytopthera do a yearly dance that would make a pre -Comanche war party look like girl guides organizing their cookie drive.
Usually, the spores have a distinct taper to them, which your sample does not have, but many of the features of your sample do look like a Cercospora. Cercospora Beticola , the nice fungus of beets and swiss chard does not have such a taper and can look like what you have photographed.

I thought the spores were oval shaped like this.
