I tried to look at red blood cells. Are these Echinocytes?

I tried to look at red blood cells. Are these Echinocytes?

I accidentally reopened a scratch and thought its a good occasion to put the blood on a slide. I saw a lot of pointy red blood cells at the edges of the slide. Are these artifacts? Echinocytes? (sorry for the poor phone picture)

Looks like crenation of RBCs due to hypertonic conditions
