A must have Microscope Accessory: Precision Tools

I remember asking about this a while back, I seem to recall that it was Charles that recommended Wiha - nice call Charles!

These are mine - very pleased with them. Least I could do for my WL and M8. :)
These are two sets that I combined into the one pouch. A little tight but they do fit.

Wiha 26099 (8 Slotted screwdrivers - 4mm down to 1mm)
Wiha 26194 (4 Phillips screwdrivers - PH1 down to PH000)

Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)

Nice set!

Yes, any job becomes a pleasure if you have decent tools.

... and a headache if you don't.
One does not need many tools.
I can adjust or if needed completely dismantle my microscope with these screwdrivers and a set of metric Allen (Hex) Keys.
Having said that, some of the larger screws did require a little more force than the Wiha 4mm and 3.5mm screwdrivers were designed to provide the first time they are loosened in 30 or 40 years.

It would be interesting to see what tools other members are using.

Indeed thanks for this review of product, 75RR. Oh so many times I foolishly buy the same err..far-east lets just say..tiny screw drivers..only to have them distort like soft lead the first time I use them on a stuborn grub-screw.

With you images of the product..I can now see what I should purchase! charlie guevara, with a box of tiny and cheap screw drivers..so far these work for holiday toys to open and close battery compartments!

Yes, those Wiha drivers are definitely worth the coin. Love mine.
