Excellent Leitz Objective seen on e-bay U.K.
Hi all, just thought I'd flag the appearance of a Leitz PlanApo x40 objective on e-bay - for 170mm TL such as Othoplan, SM-Lux etc. It's nothing to do with me at all, just that I have one of these and it's simply superb.

Hello MrSonchus...I'm sure a quality 40X PlanApo offers wonderful observations, I'm glad you have one. In your shared botanical microscopy you must have treated us to many experiences with that 40X PlanApo.
My very recent acquisition of 10X and 20X Nikon PlanApos, along with my 60X PlanApo, these have me enjoying more springtime'19 bright field microscopy...I love the shades of green and red in the pondlife.
You did not mention if the e-bay UK price was sweet for the Leitz objective you call attention to. regards, John B. , Charlie guevara
