#1 Post by Piter_ » Wed Oct 02, 2019 7:07 am

HI,
I shere any standard(s) for eyepiece micrometer diameter?
I can see on ebey 20mm and 23 mm.
But my inside dimension of Zeiss PK 6.3X ocular looks more like 21mm.
And I cannot locate such micrometer yet.
Thanks.
Best.

They certainly made them in this size (21mm), I find in my box of micrometers that I have three of this size;

One a grid (10 x 10, labelled 1-10 down one side, A-J down the other)

One with 0-100 divisions

One with two such lines at right-angles, ie. a cross.

You should attempt to measure it.

This link seems to indicate it is 19mm:

Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)

Thanks.
It is definitely not 19mm. 20 mm is too small.
I will try to find a 21mm one.
Best.
