So what annulus actually fits the Leica DM IL 090.131.001?
The one I bought here is too big to go into the brass centerable holder.
Thanks,

Re: Leica DM IL Annulus
So what part do I buy to fill this Leica DM IL's slide holder? This Annulus is too big and will not sit inside the 29.9mm brass holder that screws on the end of the slide can adjust and center.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Leica DM IL Annulus
Bob, Not sure how much help this is, buy I've seen Leitz/Leica annuli (1S1, 2S1, etc.) in two different mounts - one assumes with the same phase ring but one for a larger slider?
This is the wrong ring (#2), but maybe the mount size you want? You might find the same (smaller) size ring you want fitted to a slider for the lower end Leica/Leitz phase condensers? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Leica-Phase-Ri ... 0667.m2042
The Ebay seller (below) laser cuts replacement rings for various scopes - and perhaps this listing would help. If not that listing, perhaps others or a set custom made? Should be easy to modify the cutter program. Might be useful to lay down a semi-transparent rule on the stage to double check the ring dimensions you need if you go that route??
My own experience is that the smallest rings from this seller end up a bit fizzy from the laser cutting, but the larger ones work OK and even the fuzzy ones can be cleaned up a bit to be passable. Also a good excuse to add a laser cutter to your 3D printing apparatus??

Re: Leica DM IL Annulus
So I'll try this, but it looks like the part number is an S55. The diameter looks right. It's basically a cylinder with flexing bow arms on the sides to hold it in the brass ring of the slide.

Re: Leica DM IL Annulus
I hadn't realized it, but eh condenser lens has S55 written on it. There are annuli with S55 written on them. So hopefully this is a match.
