Was searching for information on Copepods when I came across this link.
It reminded me of how useful archive.org can be.

It remains a much underused resource of many still relevant and always interesting publications.

For British users, Robert Gurney's wonderful monograph on the ''British Fresh-water Copepoda'', three volumes, Ray Society (used to be my go-to book if I want more detail than the FBA's wonderful key) used to be on archive.org, three volumes, a brilliant book. I can't trace it now, but my internet skills are abysmal and I've been on other projects throughout the most of the year.

I was down in Edinburgh in the spring to study an actual copy in the National Library, anyone can get a member's card and although you can't take the book out you can take drawings or photomicrographs in!

Search in archive.org only came up with volumes I and III of British fresh-water Copepoda by Gurney, Robert

Perhaps someone can find the elusive vol II

At a price of 24BP + VAT it can be downloaded

Amazon sell them, but not clear if all three volumes as set, or just one volume
