Diatom Web Page

#1 Post by 75RR » Sat Aug 10, 2019 5:20 am

It is called Observation of Diatoms and is chock-a-block full of interesting info:

Among all the interesting stuff is a video on amoebae (a by-product of cultivating diatoms)

Click on July 26, 2019 Amoebae link. Watch the third video
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8

Thank You

That appears to be uncommonly 'accessible' and very well produced.

I'm sure I will find it both fascinating and educational.

Than you for the link! I think I have stumbled over the webpage once in the past but haven't had a closer look. He started it in 2016, a point of time when few new private websites were founded. Compare to a forum like this one doesn't have the multitude of opinions but a much more accessible content.
I find it interesting that he sets up diatom cultures and closer studies the behaviour of diatoms.
