These are links to some articles that Charles Krebs has kindly written to help people set up their cameras.

If you have not seen Charles Krebs' photographs you are in for a treat.

Thank you 75RR - most useful links. I am using camera mounted (no lens) using a 1960s Nikon F microscope adapter (which has an internal lens) and regular X10 eye piece. I guess I am losing some image quality along the way - will see if there is a dedicated Zeiss projection lens for their research microscopes.

Thanks 77RR.

Is the 40mm port a common size? Just wondering if there are generic tubes that will fit this or whether I either need to buy a OEM part or make one.

Cheers
Steve

Looking at the photo you provided with the caliper viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1192, I am not sure if that would be 40mm or 38mm, it does need a little wriggle room.
Here is a link: http://www.martinmicroscope.com/product ... nts-motic/
Click on brands top left corner, C mount for one of those brands will most probably fit

Suggest you email seller with your caliper photo.
