Not buying or selling but isn't this 'scope a real beauty?

Have a problem finding shops that sell specific materials? Ask here. Are you looking for microscope parts? Do you have anything to offer for sale? Note: this is not a section for external companies to advertise their products.

Not buying or selling but isn't this 'scope a real beauty?

As mentioned, I just though this was a fine looking scope. If I had money to collect scopes, I'd collect ones like this.

Lovely looking microscope. 6 objective turret as well!
Of course, if you were to make it your main microscope ... can't remember what you have at the moment.

Ok, have remembered! This would be a definite step up from your Brunel. Worth thinking on.

Nice microscope.
Wild always made classy equipment. They were innovative and did things like make a .40 N.A. 10 x apo. I never used one , don't know if it is any better than a .30 apo but there is a good chance it is, which would make it a pretty stellar lens. The workmanship was old school, fine

The x10 is na 0.45 ! I know this is about when the coverslip starts to matter, but presumbly the effect would be minor?

The other problem with 'scope would be getting a trinoc head. I like my photography.

The Wild M20 are some very nice scopes. I have a few in different configurations.
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2409 and a forum member Radazz also has one.
They didn't make a trinocular version but they do have four different photo tubes which add on between the head and turret.
See this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3550
The six turret objective with Fluotars are an excellent addition but I don't see any lighting with the listed scope. So you would need to get the light tube with bulb, which slips in the right side and a transformer.

Wild made some very fine microscopes as well as stereoscopes.

Beautiful scope. I am classified as a "collector" at times although that was never my intent. I am, in fact, downsizing the number of scopes I have. I tend to favor scopes made in the 70's thru 90's although I greatly admire the older era scopes for their beauty and build.

I think this would be the phototube that converts the binocular into a trinocular
