Help to ID these lens

#1 Post by Aman » Mon Nov 09, 2020 1:01 am

I found these at an Estate sale in a room that had 5 microscopes, various vintage, and these lenses. I got the lenses and just wondering are they for a microscope, if so what type.

Thank you for your assistance.

based on the data provided on the edges of the cases these are opthalmic or surgical primary lenses. not really associated with microscopes.

I think you can confirm by taking them to an optometrist.
That is what I think they are also, but I also think they are something from the forties or earlier, before they came up with more modern equipment .

Thank you for your input. To me, it's always a challenge to figure out what something is that I find at Estate Sales.

Thanks again will take your advice and investigate in that direction.
