Looking to examine larger soil organisms and interested in the AO Reichert options that might be available to purchase.

Thanks!

If you don't need a variable zoom, might I suggest looking at the Cycloptic as well.

Thanks! Yes Cycloptics as well. Regarding the stereo "dissecting" scopes, I would greatly prefer one from someone on the forum who can verify things are in order and no loose parts and more likely to ship with care. I just had a scope arrive with little mirror bouncing around on its own in the box, since then it is lovingly cared for until I get it glued back in place.

I have a 580 with photo adapter, and 1x mount 10x eyepieces. Also OEM style focusing post stand I also have a ring light or double branch guide fiber optic illuminator? I may have some other illuminator pieces, but need to sort that out, like vertical illuminator mirror housing. Works with 369 illuminator.
I waited a while to respond as I was figuring out if I wanted to sell it. LMK if you are interested, if so make an offer, I was thinking $500 for the scope, cmount, eyepieces, and focusing post

That's a very good deal in my opinion. Good 580s are rare.

If the 580 doesn't work out I have a nice 570 up for grabs.
