Wanted-junk 25mm objective ** I got them**

#1 Post by Dale » Sun Nov 06, 2016 11:29 pm

I need to plug one hole on my E600 turret, and I don't need any more objectives.
The plastic plugs are rarer than hens teeth. Considering a rubber test tube stopper.

Now I feel bad, you offered a cap, but another member beat you to it. His are infinity. (figure that out)
Now I have a pair of useless 23mm to resell.
Well capped in Seattle,
Thanks everyone

Grasshopper feels like his chain is being pulled when asked to explain to the master, but
jumps at the chance to do so. Nikon infinity obj's are 25mm, and 23mm go straight through
the turret hole.
Sadly, I just used the scope to diagnose my cats cutaneus histiocytoma cyst. The vet will
back me up, I hope. Minor problem, as we are waiting test results to confirm his cancer.

I take it from all this that you have finally received and setup your E600?
Did I miss the images you posted of it?

This is more like what I had in mind:

75, I am in the midst of packing for a move. I have just enough room to use one scope at a time. I
was going to wait til I moved and had the lab done, but maybe I'll post one now for a real good before
and after shot. I'll warn you now, the den looks like a storage unit after a quake.

yes. but with the adapter, you could use 20mm objectives, which might be more likely to have an attractive price attached

Wahoo, quickly send me details.
Dale
Oops, sorry, Apo, I thought that link was from Lopez, who has friends with parts
with attractive prices! Honestly, I can't think of another objective I could use. My
spread is 4-10-20-40-60X. I dont use oil, so a 100X is out. BTW, the 15X eyepieces
work very well, sharp from edge to edge.

the 15X should be good with all of those...maybe a tiny bit of degradation with a 60X .80 but .85 or higher should be o.k.
I'd be looking to fill that hole with a nice low power lens....or an iris equipped 100X. you will be looking to spread your wings with that fine fidus achates, eventually. oil isn't intimidating, it is fantastic.
