It is just the stand. It is a bit unusual in that it does not have the base containing electronics. It appears to have been set up that way as it has rubber feet made for the corners. I will post photos. Otherwise it looks and performs like new. It has the slide manipulator which appears to be very slightly tweaked. I have had several of these stands and have one other currently. They all have had the control slightly tweaked as though bent ever so slightly but has no effect on performance. Take a look and if interested shoot me an offer. I have not yet determined what to list it for. You would probably know better than many.

You will note the frosted glass plate normally located below the clear glass stage plate is not present either.

Could you look into the shipping on it? That can always throw a monkey wrench into a U.S.> Canada sale. Send me either an email or a p.m. about that. I suspect Priority Intl. is still the best bet.

I have seen a few of these for sale before but never had one on hand. They look very nice and hefty. Were they meant for wafer inspection?

They were used for that, although the stands with the stage manipulator were often used for biological purposes. The R-Stand has an extremely fine focus control knob compared to their other stands enabling better focus at high magnifications. The R-stand came in various configurations. The stand is built like a tank, quite heavy and very well made. The precise focus is what makes them so useful.
