Hi all, I've a box of parts to sell for a friend but don't know what most of them are, only that some a very well made indeed. If you can identify any of the parts or are interested in buying any of them please contact me.....

I think this is a Leitz phase-contrast objective of the Heine system - this one's a 22x water immersion!

your last picture shows a diopter adjustable, FOV25 and 30mm tube diameter eyepiece from the cf-250 era of Zeiss Jena.
Fits to Jenamed, Jenaval, Jenalumar and many more.

This is again beautifully engineered, and I think it's a polariser as there seems to be a rotatable polarised filter within....

John, Sounds like a good guess on the 10x water immersion objective. That should be a beauty for someone.

Don't know what microscope the polarizer came with, but the bottom dovetail looks to be around a 40mm dovetail plus or minus and for finite objectives. Is the female side to fit the same?

It might fit Swift (39mm), maybe Jena (just over 41mm) or Leitz 170 tube heads. Might even not be entirely too loose on the male side or too small on the female side to fit all the 42mm dovetails (Olympus, Motic, Hund, etc.). Could be a good way to add polarization to a scope.

I have the exact polariser part on my Zeiss Jenna NF (black) and guess that yours is for the later 1970s models. Mine also has room for interference filters.

I can provide images if you like.

If I was you I would give that 22X water dipping objective a spin. With a plezy adapter, it might be very useful for viewing water saturated samples; raw plant tissue and the like. It looks to be a dipping objective, not a water immersion objective.

Is the 10X a water immersion objective, Pete? Leitz made some no cover objectives that were specific to viewing photographic emulsions. That may be one of them.

Hi all, thanks for the help Pete, Ian & apo' - really appreciate your help. I'm selling these for a friend who isn't so well and has 'inherited' a box of mixed Leitz parts, many of which I don't recognise. If anyone's interested in buying any of them just let me know and make a fair offer - it will all help my friend.

The last photo is in my opinion a set of film camera lenses, for the East German Zeiss - Werra perhaps. The "default" lens of that camera was the 2.8/50mm Tessar.

the eyepieces are Zeiss Jena, P is non-correcting.
The thing might be part of a monocular tube or a drawing atattchment.
These Tessar lenses - do they contain a diaphragm and do they have a mounting- or focussing thread?
I don't think they were from a Werra.

Those are pretty small diameter lenses. I would lean in the direction of them being 16mm movie camera lenses.

70mm @ f3.5 = 20mm clear aperture
and the body doesn't need to be big if there is no iris diaphragm.

A side view would be useful, but: I think these are they ...

Hi, coincidentally I came across the box with these in yesterday as I was having a clear-up in my lab. I'm pretty sure I still have them, any particular item/s you're interested in old chap?
