Ceramic rods

Have a problem finding shops that sell specific materials? Ask here. Are you looking for microscope parts? Do you have anything to offer for sale? Note: this is not a section for external companies to advertise their products.

The ceramic rod which holds the lamp is broken. Also reflecting mirror is missing.
May be somebody knows a supplier of suitable rods?
Thanks.

Hello,
Maybe you can start here to find something you can use...

Bill's solution would likely be best if you can find something that's a close match. Tiny diamond coated saw blade as used for tile should work to cut it to length.

Machinable ceramic rods are also available (and in various diameters). I've never used them -- and don't know their strength -- but they supposedly can be drilled and machined to match what you have:

Thanks
I was searching eBay for rods. But it did not come into my mind to look for tubes.
Best.
