Nikon E600 DIC, Pola scope soon for sale
Nikon E600 DIC, Pola scope soon for sale
Will shortly be selling a Nikon E600 (CFI infinity) microscope equipped for brightfield, darkfield, simple polarization and DIC; for what I have in it.
Included will be the stand in excellent operating and cosmetic condition, a Nikon LV-TI trinocular head with Nikon CFI 10x x 22 oculars, a six place C-ND 6 DIC nosepiece, five objectives, a C-CU condenser and a complement of enough top (PF20 and PF40) and bottom prisms (M) for DIC at 10x (Plan), 20x (Plan Apo), and 40x (Plan). The 20x and 40x DIC images are breathtaking. The 10x is with the top condenser lens flipped own -- very even and good -- but not perfect. This scope uses the 25mm thread CFI optics with a 60mm parfocal distance and offers industry-leading working distance and optics second to none.
Also included are a 4x Nikon Plan objective as a finder and a 100x Nikon Plan oil objective. A 60x objective that also provides good DIC with these prisms is also, possibly, available. Includes the usual 100 watt halogen lamphouse and other typical accessories. Have a significant amount in this, but a thousand or so less than comparables typically on Ebay. I'm presently waiting on a new analyzer to complete the scope and thought I'd give folks here a first shot at asking questions, etc.
Some details are here: http://www.krebsmicro.com/pdf/Eclipse_E600_brochure.pdf
Pictures and further details upon request.

Sounds like it will be an incredible scope!

Hi, do you ship to Iran? How much would be the shipping cost? I can pay via PayPal.
Daruosh.

Daroush, Given the problems with shipping these days, I'll probably want to keep it to the 48-50 states. I've had several incoming shipments coming from abroad (Germany, even Canada) delayed for weeks or months -- and suspect it is just as bad outbound from the US. UK incoming, for some reason seems OK, but those have been mail packages. It's also pretty heavy and bulky.

Thanks Pete, something like that microscope is next to impossible to find here in Iran, but I fully understand your concern.

Re: Nikon E600 DIC, Pola scope soon for sale
A couple messages wondered if it would be possible to sell the DIC components, without the stand and objectives, to someone who already has a Nikon E400, E600, or E800? For the E600 and E800, I'd consider it. Easier to carefully and safely pack and ship. The E400, however, has a fixed nosepiece and won't accommodate the Nikon C-ND DIC6 nosepiece which is required (it holds the prisms).

Hah! Good idea, good link, Viktor. If nothing else, it shows what would be involved.
