That looks to be very little used. That was a very nice design and I think there was a 40X objective for it as well. Someone will be very happy with that.

Back in the teens, 20's, Szhutz; an optical firm in Kassel made a portable of similar design. It uses a stacking objective but has an R.M.S. thread, so a small nosepiece can be put on and the 160mm tube can therefore take finer optics, up to 60X or so. The fine focus has a really nifty helical screw with micron divisions. The optical tube lifts out and stores beside the stand in a small wooden case.
A surprisingly similar concept to the Meopta but in the design and materials of it's era. Weighs 4 1/2 lbs. with a nosepiece, 3 objectives packed in it's wooden case, despite all the brass and cast iron.
