I won't ask
about words.
I know what the
answer will be.
But I will
ask about meanings.
How many meanings
will fit in the mind
of a germ?
And what does
a meaning feel like?
I watch them
every day and
see them
navigate the simple
puzzles of their lives
and wonder
what are they feeling?
And how long
do their
feelings last?

Re: Idle Questions
IMHO, mostly fear. Hunger, seeking, and preservation/survival are forms of fear.

Re: Idle Questions
You may be a bit of a pessimist in these matters. I don't think their lives are any scarier than ours. I don't know if fear is possible for them. I do think most microbes live a pretty quiet life--except for the end. I don't know about beginnings. Fun to guess.
