Following some questions on Water Flea identification viewtopic.php?f=13&p=44753#p44753 & viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4907 I decided to see if I could find a Water Flea scientific classification diagram.
Had no luck so made one based on Wiki. Started at Crustacea and worked my way down.

As in all these things, corrections are welcome ...
The Families in green are the ones that appear in the initial Cladocera page of the Center for Freshwater Biology Key:

Wiki only included Genus for the Daphniidae family so the chart has some way to go yet, but one can see that calling all Water Fleas ... Daphnia, is a bit hit and miss.
