#1 Cover Glasses
I bought some #1 cover glasses (thinner than the widely-used #2 cover glass). The view is clearer and I'm much less likely to squash microbes with my 60x objective. I think they are worth getting.

For those interested in the difference between #2 and #1 or indeed any of the other cover slip thickness numbers see attached image.
Required cover slip thickness (if required) is printed on the objective.
