Those of you who warned me about microscopes multiplying were right!
I'm trying to find any info on a Ceti Topic-B 2421.000 but the interwebs have nothing. I've emailed Medline Scientific asking if they have any info, but not heard back yet.
Apart from being Belgian, I don't know anything about this thing. Will post pics later, but does anyone have any knowledge of these?
Thank you!

Looks like your classic whitelabeled BH2-alike. I have a feeling that it is not actually Belgian, maybe slightly assembled there. Should be a fun scope.

Here it is. Definitely BH2-ish, but does anyone have any (links to) specific info? Owners manual, original cost, year(s) of manufacture, known problems, what's it good at, or not good at....? Of course I've been trawling the web, but empty-handed so far.
I see the original BH2 had sliding adjustment for interpupiliary distance whereas this is "rotary". Five-objective turret, supplied with 4X 10X 40X 100Xoil, 160mm optics. I have a no-name Chinese a 20X/0.45 which I've fitted and it's all parfocal. Halogen light with field iris.

It also looks very similar to the Fisher-branded "Micromaster" sold by Fisher Scientific in the US. These were originally made in Japan, and then production was moved to China in a later version.
Decent scope - at least the couple Japanese-made versions I've had hands on - though not as well made as the BH2 it seems "inspired" by.
One problem I've encountered is the the focus and condenser racks come loose. Loosen, then tighten up a zillion screws, with the racks compressed lightly in place (a pair of super tiny bar clamps with padded faces can do) and you'll be back in business. The focus itself seems well made.
Recollection is that the original version didn't have Kohler illumination or a field iris and (even vaguer recollection) a somewhat hot-running halogen illumination system. Where's the lamp located on yours - at the back or under the stage?

Thank you PeteM. The lamp is below the stage. The 'scope came with two unused replacement bulbs.
