Zeiss Photomicroscope 2

This is my microscope:
Zeiss Photomicroscope 2.
-epifluorescence condenser 3RS.
-trinocular head
-optovar magnification changer introduces factors of 1.25x, 1.6x, and 2x
-filter selector for transmitted light (green, 4 neutral density, blue)
-10w led light and Zeiss 12v 60W lamp.

Monster microscope in beautiful condition. Congratulations.

Couple of questions if I may.
Is the led light one of those available from ebay?
How does it compare to the 12v 60w?
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)

Yes ,the LED light is one of this from ebay, "RetroDiode.com".But I would not recommend,there is a 9 little dots on the front of the LED witch you see in the eyepieces field of view.Should be a single LED bulb.For proper lighting I use the matte dissipative lens,placed just before the led.The orginal 12v 60W lamp have large square filament in the bulb, its fill all the field of view.
