Here is my Zeiss Standard Pol.
Objectives: 2.5x, 2.5x, 6.5x and 10x.
Adjustable analyzer, 1/4 lambda plate. LED light source.
Might be willing to trade one of the 2.5x's if anyone has something different...

Re: Zeiss Pol
Do you want an objective with around 1x magnification?
I don't have anything to trade, though I heard Zeiss made one (1.3x?) with a tiny working distance.
Leitz made a 1.3x (or 1.2x / 1.4x) iris that has around 30mm worming distance.
Nikon made a 1.2x with iris and WD of around 30mm as well. None pol version.
And there is a generic Omax 1x with around 30mm WD and no iris. Again none pol version.
As you may already know, many 1x industrial objectives have huge WD of around 160mm and cannot be used on regular compound microscope stage.
There are many good 4x objectives on the market.

Re: Zeiss Pol
Probably 4x would be fine. I'm looking for a Zeiss black enamel POL to match these though.
I don't have a 1x on any of my microscopes. I don't know if I've ever seen one. I could probably use one. Most things I want to look at are in the low magnification range. When I'm outdoors, I carry a 4x and a 10x loupe.
Thanks for the advice!

Re: Zeiss Pol
That Zeiss Pol is a really nice scope with the rotate-able analyzer/stage and Pol objectives. The is a Zeiss 1X but they are rare and kind of hard to use on a stand like that because they are so long.
Re: Zeiss Pol
David Walker of MicUK wrote about that Zeiss 1x objective before, IIRC. It has a spring at the front, because it is so long and has such a tiny working distance.
