My Old Microscope:

#1 Post by Rodney » Thu Feb 19, 2015 8:40 pm

My oldest working microscope of several others is this 1898 Bausch and Lomb monocular. I use this microscope a lot because it continues to provide good results. It was all froze up and filthy when I purchased it but I only gave 27 bucks for it.

Wow! This is a museum piece in perfect working condition. I'm sure you are very proud of it. Thank you for showing it. I hope you will show us your other microscopes too in due course.

Rodney, it is beautiful!!!
Don't know what your other scopes are or where you live but have you considered donating it to a museum so others can enjoy it?
Any idea what it's worth? I bet a lot more that $27 :)
