Hi Please help identify this Carl Zeiss Jena 38849
This belonged to my Father and I would love to know what type of microscope and what it is used for.
Please any info would be great: I would also like to what the value of this is today Please see photo ant thank you

It looks to be a slit lamp microscope, for use by ophthalmologists and optometrists. Might Google "Zeiss Jena slit lamp microscope" and see what you find.

No idea of the value. Older slit lamp microscopes aren't usually especially valuable.

The microscope part (stereo microscope) is likely to be of fine quality and handy for many things besides the intended examination of eyes.
