I shot a quick photo of a dimetrodon bone trabecula (an animal related to ancestors of mammals from the Permian Era of Texas). A little fuzzy- didn't have time to grind it perfectly flat- in a hurry to put the microscope together and see if it works.)
If anyone knows the name or model number of this microscope, please share. Or any information at all, manuals, pamphlets, ads, etc... I've managed to collect a few of them in the process of getting one set up.
Here is my Zeiss Industrial Metallurgical Microscope. Incident light with LED light source and polarizer. The stand is from the Stereomicroscope which matches perfectly. The microscope itself is just a tubus without lenses. The telan lens sits in the incident illuminator. The upper dovetail matches the Zeiss Standard. The lower dovetail is much smaller. Fine focus has micrometer markings for Z-axis measurements. My Zeiss Industrial
