I have a B&L Stereo Zoom 7 with an "old style" #545 camera adapter (see photos 1&2)
The adapter supposedly accepts a "23.2mm i.d." extension tube.
I would like to know if a new "C-mount" 23.2mm O.D.( I think the O.D. might be a mistake, but who knows!) as shown in photo 3 will fit the adapter.
Does anyone KNOW FOR CERTAIN if there is only ONE type of 23.2mm tube, or whether the old-style #545 adapter accepts a C-mount tube?
This seems likely.

Re: New camera adapter for old microscope
No, this will not thread in. The 23mm adapter is what the inner diameter is at the top (to accept a standard eyepiece or eyepiece adapter). The bottom of the tube is threaded, from my measurement probably 1 inch diameter 20 tpi (with baiscally one thread of depth). That's why the newer one is a lot easier to improvise an adapter for, though I am sure this is not insurmountable.

Hi, if you are interested, the old photo tube may be available here. Good luck!
