I have a Bristoline binocular and an Olympus CH binocular. By accident I discovered that the binocular heads are perfectly interchangeable between the Bristoline and the four objective Olympus CH. I was able to use the Bristoline with the Olympus head to take photographs. I went onto EBay and bought a used Olympus trinocular head without eyepieces and swapped the heads on my Bristoline. It works perfectly !!!! Bristoline probably made trinocular heads but I hve never seen them.
The image of the mosquito larvae shows a fully formed mosquito inside the head of the larvae. It would probably emerge from the head in one more day. Although the images are failrly decent, they are not very good. I do not know why.
