From what I've researched, this my be an odd question.
I just used my Eosin Stain which has been sitting around for some months. It is loaded with bacteria. I even placed stain alone on a slide and it shows active/living bacteria in abundance.
Has anyone encountered this?
Any explanations?
Thank You
Eosin Stain
Re: Eosin Stain
Apparently eosin aqueous solutions are very prone to mould growth, so I suspect bacterial growth could also be an issue.

Re: Eosin Stain
Now you have a prestained bacteria reservoir! A bright side to every situation
Re: Eosin Stain
Thanks.
As you said there are abundant bacteria that show up very well.
