Hi!
I have my free time to do some microscopy.
Is there any experiments you would recommend for simple/amateur microscopy.
I love observation and collecting data.
Suggestion for experiments?

If you have access to pond water, keep two containers of water from the same source in different conditions (light, temperature, sealed vs open, etc) and see how the populations in each differ over time.

Have a look at this link in the Resources (online, books etc.) section.

I would like to remind new forum members that there is a Resources (online, books etc.) section that is worth a look.
It is not organized in any way, so you have to rummage through it somewhat like a junk filled attic,
and like an attic, there are potentially many treasures there if you persevere enough.

You might also try to buy or borrow a copy of "Explore the World Using Protozoa" by O. Roger Anderson & Marvin Druger published by NSTA Press (1997).
I'll add an entry to the Resources forum since it doesn't appear to be included there.
