Sample image appears without a sample under microscope

#1 Post by KrisMyers » Tue Oct 18, 2022 12:50 pm

I have a Olympus SZX16 scope with a Olympus SC50 camera. I am using Stream Start 2.4 to view images on my computer. Once I click on "Live" it shows a sample on the screen even without anything under the lens of the scope. When I do place a sample under the lens it still shows the "phantom" sample that showed when i opened the live camera. Please help if you have any idea.

Try to move the prism slider and see what happens. Maybe turn the camera to see if the phantom moves.

Maybe try to put the camera into the binocular port if it fits and look.

Just some thoughts :)

Verify the right source (scope) is selected in the software.
