Hey folks, I'm pretty active on the microscopy subreddit and helped put together a resource ID guide that some of you may find useful. The goal is to collect beginner-friendly resources that are easy to navigate and photo-driven.
Here is the guide.
I would appreciate any feedback on more resources to add! One that I want to highlight is Dr. Martin Kreutz's Real Micro Life which only started at the end of 2021 and might not have gotten on your radar yet. Dr. Kreutz should need no introduction: he was the principal photographer for the wonderful Sphagnum Ponds of Simmelried monograph - arguably the best overall resource for amateurs interested in pond water microbes.
