Where can i find live Chloroplasts

I`ve been trying to find a plant that has live Chloroplasts, I can see under the microscope, but i dont know what plant will work. I have tryed grass and more but still no luck finding Chloroplasts. does anybodyhave any plants I should try. Thak you.

Are you trying with reflected rather than transmitted light? Thin sections of plant cells on a slide, with transmitted light, should help you see them.

I would recommend maybe trying some algae instead of what looks to be a section of a leaf. For example, spirogyra have very recognizable spiraling chloroplasts.

What kind of set up are you using? If transmitted light, a pond with some algae would work wonders for you if you harvest some algae and dilute in water. If you wanted to make an algae culture, harvest a bit from a local pond and add it to a water bottle of water + a little bit of miracle grow fertilizer and set out in the sun.
