I am missing the bolt that holds in the binocular head dovetail on the Zeiss Universal...
Actually, It seems to be an assembly of bolts, springs and plungers that fits into a threaded hole. Are these still available, or are there alternatives? Is this a standard metric thread size, so that maybe somebody could make one up?
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The securing 'bolt' assembly which holds the top cap on top of the beam splitter is the same, so you could remove it and put it in for the binocular head. Some have a small securing screw to hold the bolt assemble from turning, so you will need to backed it out a bit before the bolt assemble can be removed.
