Cover slips

Do you clean them or just toss them? They are really fragile and thin. I've been cleaning them, but maybe I should just toss them and buy more.

Well depends. If they are the more expensive high grade ones I have cleaned them. The cheaper ones I toss. It's all about cost for me. The time it takes to clean one vs what it costs to replace.

I clean mine with a piece of an old "T" shirt (soft cotton fabric) and just water. In dark field one can tell when to just give up and toss them.
