Capture eyepiece view

#1 Post by ocelotcphi » Fri Apr 12, 2019 7:18 pm

Hi All,
Currently the eyepiece view varies significantly from the image shown by the binocular CMOS camera, interms of smear and bacilli color . I am trying to get this sorted. For me to show this difference in terms of images , is there any way I can capture image of eyepiece view ?
Also what is the settings I need to work with to make camera images similar to what I see through eyepiece. My work involves detecting Tuberculosis bacilli. I have been trying adjusting software for contrast, hue and brightness. It ends up changing actual pink bacilli color(as seen through eyepiece) to blue and purple. Have attached the camera and microscope specs.Camera is ProcamR-8. Kindly help me out .
