Hello, ended up getting this microscope just to get some gram stains done that were time sensitive. I know a lot of the digital cameras they try to up-sell you on are laggy or low MP. I have a nice Lumix G7 I'm trying to attach to the top of the camera mount to capture photos but I have zero idea what I need. I look up 23mm camera adapters and there's 3-4 pieces inside each kit but everything is sold separately. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Simplest/Cheapest answer [although there are others]:
The 'scope comes equipped with a C-mount

Search ebay for "c mount to micro 4 3" and take your pick

Like this? https://www.amazon.com/Pixco-Lens-Adapt ... way&sr=8-8

Or it needs a tube and a lens?

That is the style that I had in mind; a simple mount adapter
... if the 'scope is [as per your first post] already equipped for c-mount, it should be all you need.

But, I am uncomfortable about that seller, and what they are actually shipping
... The description doesn't seem to match the image, and one review says it is a loose fit on the camera.

.
Both camera-side and lens-side of the adapter are made of brass, precision-machined and plated with chromium
[???]

There are many other choices if you have doubts about the seller.

Most adapters are made of anodized aluminum, which along with stainless steel, can gall if you over-tighten the threads. Chromium plated brass would be better: brass is resistant to galling and a hard chrome finish greatly reduces wear and the metal dust that could get into the optics. But neither should be an issue if you aren't constantly mounting and dismounting the camera. I suspect you won't get brass and chrome for $6.99 with free shipping.

Quite so, John

I was simply expressing some concern about the seller.

That's cool.

Give a yodel should you wish to run the camera off AC power. I have figured that out if you haven't already.
