Lynx Stereo Dynascope
Lynx Stereo Dynascope
Hi,
I'm a real noob when talking about microscopes. Company I work for was dumping that microscope (see picture) as they did an upgrade on all their lab equipment. All I got was that microscope. I can see there is connection on the led lamp and back of the microscope. I was wondering do you know what i need to buy to get it going ?? I plugged in cable on the back of it but only blue light and something like fan comes on.I cant see anything looking through the scope. Thanks

Re: Lynx Stereo Dynascope
As a stop gap, it may be that you can put a normal stereo head on in place of the vision engineerong projector. Vision engineering does make a stereo with a normal head (the Beta I think) amd I have seen one of those geads mounted on a Leica mz6. So it may be a Leoca bino head would fit, and allow you to use it as a normal stereo.
Sorry, tha may not be much help for the real issue.

I'm curious too. They're really strange scopes!

Sorry, I don’t know much about them, but Vision Engineering is alive and well :

VisionEngineering microscope are truly amazing. For soldering and repairing electronics, they offer a working experience next to nothing. They're also very expensive.
What makes them unique is you don't need to focus your eyes on the eyepieces and this prevents eye fatigue.
